This is exactly why we do what we do. 

Baba Alimoot shares the moving story of how he almost walked away from music forever. Between chronic back pain and pinched nerves, the weight of traditional guitars was making it impossible to perform—until he found his first Sydow.

Today, Baba is back to doing what he loves, playing 7 nights a week across Oahu:

  • Star of Honolulu (5 nights)
  • Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa (1 night)
  • Longboards at the Marriott (1 night)

We are incredibly honored to build the instruments that keep legends like Baba on stage. Mahalo to Dr. Isaac Kaopua for the introduction, and thank you, Baba, for the music!

Vince Gill at his house buying his new Sydow guitar from Steve. He was smiling with the door open to welcome us. He gave us a private concert in his parlor with his new Sydow guitar. Trisha asked Vince how he likes it, he said, "I like it, I like it a Lot!!". We enjoyed this visit so much and are honored.
